Taurus Gold Corp. Corporate Update and Invitation to 2021 Remote Roundup, Vancouver, B.C.

January 18, 2021Taurus Gold Corp. (“Taurus” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at the upcoming virtual 2021 AME Remote Roundup Mining Conference being held January 18 to 22, 2021. The Company has a virtual booth in the Exhibit Hall and invites attendees to learn about the  road-accessible Charlotte gold-silver project in the Dawson Range Gold Belt, Yukon, Canada.

Details on Taurus’s 2020 drill program on the Flex gold-silver zone are outlined in the November 12, 2020 news release available at www.taurusgold.ca. Drill samples are at the MSALABS analytical laboratory in Langley City, British Columbia and sample results are pending.

The Company would like to highlight a recent news release (Jan. 13, 2021) by Rockhaven Resources Inc. regarding the discovery of a new vein complex at its Klaza property, adjacent to the Company’s Charlotte property. The Rusk Target was discovered in a previously undrilled area that is covered by only a thin layer of overburden.

“Rockhaven’s Rusk Target gold-silver-lead-zinc vein discovery lies two kilometres west of the Charlotte property and is similar in character to the Flex zone and other known mineralized areas on Charlotte,” states Lori Walton, Taurus’s President and CEO. “This is important to Taurus because the Rusk Target discovery shows the potential of finding new near-surface gold-silver mineralization on Charlotte’s sizeable project area.”

In other news, the Company is working to put in place sound and effective corporate governance procedures. Taurus has established an audit committee with the following members: Trevor Harding (Chair), Paul Milelli, and Lori Walton. Paul Milelli has been appointed Chair of the Board of Directors. Paul was a founder of Nettune Inc., an international IT consulting agency, and brings expertise in corporate finance and research. He has served as director for several public companies and is currently the IT Director of Canada Homestay Network. Paul has a B.Sc. degree from Concordia University.

The Company is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Stephen Brohman as the Company’s Corporate Secretary. Mr. Brohman will continue in his role as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and will also assume the role of Corporate Secretary.  Mr. Brohman is a principal at Donaldson Brohman Martin, CPA Inc. and has over ten years of experience working with private and publicly traded companies, including serving as a director and/or officer. Mr. Brohman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and obtained his CPA, CA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation while working in public practice.

Technical information in this news release has been approved by Ken MacDonald, P.Geo., who is an independent “Qualified Person” as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
